41-Year-Old OFW Virgie Baliton Went missing After Looking For Nearest C.R
The 41-year-old OFW named Virgie Baliton went missing in Berkeley, California after she looked for the nearest restroom but never returned.
Baliton is working as a live-in caregiver of her 80-year-old Chinese woman employer in Hongkong, but now residing in the United States. The Pinay worker went to Berkeley to witness the graduation of her granddaughter at the University of California.
On Saturday (May 13, 2017), Baliton together with her employer’s family went to Café Strada to grab a meal. The OFW excused herself to find the nearest restroom, because the Café’s comfort room was out-of-order.
Virgie never came back after looking for the nearest CR, which caused her employer’s family to be worried about her. The incident was immediately reported by her employer’s family to the authorities. The employer’s family also clarified the rumors about Baliton could have gone and run away because they’ve already known her 14 years.
Grace, Baliton’s granddaughter said that her grandmother is not that type of person and said that she has known her already since she was young. In an interview, she also gives a heartbreaking message to her grandmother if she can hear.
“We really want you to be safe. We really want you to come back. We love you. We need you,” said by Grace in an interview.
