Find out the humble beginnings of the actor Coco Martin before he became a big star.
COCO MARTIN – From being an Indie film underdog to Primetime King, Coco Martin is not ashamed to tell his job before he got in to the world of show business.
The journey of the actor to where he is right now, which is at the peak of his fame, was never easy.
Coco Martin, the Kapamilya actor who is now dominating the prime time series every night, was once an Overseas Filipino Worker in Canada where he worked as a janitor.
‘Paloma’, ‘Cardo’, ‘Daniel Guidotti’, are just some of the roles played by Coco. All roles are far different from the other but it only attested the chameleon-like acting skills of the actor as he could play it one by one without any flaw.
But, him, being a janitor, is one of the truest of him that he would never be ashamed of to share to everyone. That experience of him molded him to be who he is now.
According to the report of the Filipino Portal in Canada, it was during the Indfie film ‘Masahista’ where he saw an opportunity to be a TNT or ‘Tago ng Tago’ known loosely as an undocumented foreign worker.
And there he worked as a janitor. Even though he is handsome, the job opportunities on his way does not come right away thus, he was forced to accept under the table offers in order to make his income steady.
Being a janitor was not an easy job. He is always on the run to wake up at 1 am to reach the Bingo Parlor by 2 am and clean it before it opens on 7 am. He was also in daze every time he cleans the toilet as he don’t know what to do with the dirt and sanitary pads.
During his stay at the foreign country, he did not have any chance to find himself a girlfriend because his family is on the top of his priority. And after 9 months of staying there, he went back to the Philippines and the rest is history.
Indeed, hard works are being paid off big time.
In life, nothing good comes easily.
