Bela Padilla was asked about her love life
Kapamilya actress Bela Padilla had this answer when she was asked about “jowa reveal,” in a recent interview.
Bela has been open about her past relationships, especially the last one with Swiss national Norman Ben Bay. However, she somehow shocked her fans when she confirmed their breakup.
However, the actress stressed that it was a mutual decision, and that they separated without animosity toward each other.
In recent months, rumors that Bela Padilla is in a new relationship circulated online. There were photos that circulated on social media showing that she was with Martin Tan.
Just recently, Bela was asked if she is going to introduce the special man in her life, based on the article in Bandera. “JOWA reveal? Wala pa!” she said when asked if she would finally have a “boyfriend reveal,” given that a special someone has once again been spotted in her life.
Bela didn’t miss the chance to inject some humor into the conversation, jokingly saying that any future boyfriend of hers would first have to pass the approval of Diamond Star Maricel Soriano. “Ina-approve po ni Inay,” she said.
Bela and Maricel are co-stars in the new movie Life After You. Since Maricel was also game for some banter, the seasoned actress played along with Bela’s joke. “Kapag nagka-jowa si Bela sasabihin niya agad…Ay kailangan i-approve ko,” the veteran actress said.
Meanwhile, speculation regarding Bela’s rumored romance intensified after Martin Tan, her alleged “special someone”, was spotted at the red carpet premiere of Life After You.
Although he did not personally hand the bouquet to Bela in front of the crowd, his presence at the premiere did not go unnoticed. To this day, Bela Padilla has yet to confirm whether she and Martin are officially a couple.
The actress had previously admitted that there is a “special someone” in her life who gives her a reason to smile.
