Heart got real about certain issues during her guest appearance on GMA’s vodcast Your Honor, hosted by Chariz Solomon and Buboy Villar.
The Kapuso star expressed strong disapproval toward entitled and “mayabang” (boastful) influencers, calling out their rude demeanor and reminder of how fleeting online fame is.
Heart Evangelista admitted that she is deeply turned off by how certain content creators carry themselves.
“Hindi ko ma-take kasi ‘yung ibang influencers na kung umasta… Yabang mo, Sis! Ang yabang mo! I hate that,” she said.
She clarified that while she might project an aura of luxury and grandeur, it is strictly out of professional necessity. “Ako, mayabang ako. Iyayabang ko ‘yung kailangan ko iyabang kasi trabaho ko ‘yun. Pero kung ano ang binili ko, hindi ko ia-unbox,” the actress explained.
While Heart did not mention any name in her statement and appeared as a “blind item,” social media users widely speculated that the remarks might be tied to recent online tension connected to what social media personality Mimiyuuuh said.
To recall, Mimiyuuuh mentioned “clean money” in a vlog, but did not mention any name. This was magnified when Heart Evangelista’s personal assistant reacted to this, calling out Mimiyuuuh. Heart also had a cryptic statement about fame being temporary after this issue became a trending topic. She stressed that she aims for longevity and not virality.
