On the morning of July 31, 2026, authorities in Kalibo, Aklan are investigating an unsual incident after a glass window in a building was found shattered. The building owner, a 51-year-old resident, personally reported the incident to the police after learning about the damage from a house helper.
The helper reportedly heard a loud crashing sound shortly before 6:00 a.m. At the time, the source of the noise was not immediately identified. Later that morning, the helper noticed that one of the glass windows on the building’s second floor had been shattered.
After being informed, the owner inspected the area and confirmed the damage. However, what made the incident more puzzling was the absence of any obvious cause. No rocks, metal objects, or other items that could have struck the window were found inside or around the building.
