Faith da Silva and Sam Verzosa clarified that they are just friends
Rumors surfaced on social media linking businessman Sam Verzosa and Kapuso actress Faith da Silva.
Sam is known as the ex-boyfriend of Kapuso actress Rhian Ramos, while Faith was previously linked to veteran actor Albert Martinez.
Just recently, as netizens spotted Sam and Faith together, speculations about the real score between them started to circulate on social media.
However, based on the article in PEP, Sam Verzosa and Faith da Silva both denied the rumored relationship.
It was said that people should not take their togetherness as a sign of something romantic. They were seen together watching Jessica Sanchez’s concert at the SM MOA Arena on Saturday, May 16, 2026.
It was also pointed out that it was not just the two of them who watched, but many of their friends were also there.
They also attended entertainment writer Jun Lalin’s birthday party together on Wednesday, May 20. During that event, PEP Troika was able to ask Faith and Sam for their reaction to the video of them together at the Jessica Sanchez concert going viral.
“Kaibigan lang kami. We’re friends. Me and Sam are friends,” the Kapuso actress pointed out, adding that she was surprised when rumors surfaced linking her to Sam.
“Marami nga, kasi nanood ng concert,” Faith shared. When asked if Sam is courting her right now, she said that there is nothing like this and that, for her, it is friendship.
She also shared that she met Sam back in 2019 or 2020, and it was just recently when the friendship bloomed because she is not that busy.
“Kasi katatapos lang ng Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre, tapos siyempre nag-birthday ako, nagganito, nagganyan. So, kahit sino naman siguro, kapag may time ka na, you can hang out with your friends,” Faith da Silva explained.
When Sam Verzosa was asked about the real score between him and the Kapuso actress, he had a short answer, stressing that they are just friends.
“Opo. More than five years na,” the businessman said, but when he was asked if he is courting Faith, his answer was, “Hindi ko alam.
On the other hand, he stressed that he and Faith watched Jessica Sanchez’s concert as friends. “Ang dami kong kasama. Ang dami namin. Masaya ang concert, si Martin, si Gary, everyone was there… Regine. Solid!” the businessman said.
Faith is currently single, but she prefers to focus on her work. After doing the series Sang’gre, she will soon start her new medical drama series Code Grey.
