In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, Sofia Andres shared her thoughts on being compared to other celebrities. She admitted that these kinds of comments affected her before.

“Kasi siyempre sobrang bago pa nung comments nung mga tao. Also, yung role ko palagi is kontrabida so they would always compare me to the bida. Ako naman [iniisip ko] baka I’m not doing enough. I had to really swallow my pride,” the Kapamilya actress said.

However, Sofia learned an important lesson. For her, the best thing to do is to stay grounded even in the midst of a competitive environment.

“I think, importante sa showbiz yung talagang stay on your ground. Be humble. Kasi kapag nagpadala ka sa ego and lagi kang nagcocompare, you’re not going to be happy,” she stressed.
