During the wake of “Asia’s Queen of Songs,” Pilita Corales, actor Jericho Rosales confirmed his relationship with actress Janine Gutierrez. It was a candid moment that ended the rumors that had been lingering about their real score.
Recently, in Janine’s appearance on “Oh My Gan,” the actress opened up about their relationship. Janine described her relationship with Jericho and said that it is simple, comfortable, and grounded, making her feel happy, peaceful, and supported.
As a boyfriend, Janine described Jericho as someone who embodies not just one, but many of the traits she values in a man. For her, it goes beyond surface-level attraction, highlighting deeper qualities such as kindness, emotional support, and a genuine connection.
He has given her a sense of security and encouragement.
“When I met Echo, I was like, ‘Oh my God, lahat ito, siya,’” she said, adding, “[Sabi ko sa kaniya], lahat ng mga hiningi ko kay Lord, nakikita ko sa’yo.”

Meanwhile, Janine is not ready to settle down yet, as she has just signed a contract with Star Magic. There are plans already set for her career in the next two years, and this is going to be her priority for now.
“As in, di ko maisip na ang bilis ng panahon na ilang years na ako. And to be given another opportunity to sign another contract and work with ABS and Star Magic. Siyempre, yun yung priority for the next two years,” she said.
