Eman Pacquiao Speaks About Facing Brother Jimuel in The Boxing Ring

Will Eman Pacquiao fight his brother inside the boxing ring?

Eman Pacquiao has no plans of facing his older brother, Jimuel, in a boxing ring, even if given the opportunity.

Boxer-actor Eman Bacosa Pacquiao has clarified that he has no intention of stepping into the ring against his older brother, Jimuel Pacquiao. Both of them have taken a path similar to their father, Manny Pacquiao, who is a legendary icon in boxing.

In a recent guest appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the Sparkle artist was asked if he would accept the opportunity to fight against his older brother. Firmly, he highlighted that he would never do it because the bout would bring no joy regardless of the outcome.

“Unang-una, hindi po, kasi kapatid ko po siya. Saka wala naman po kasiyahan na mangyayari kung matalo man o manalo ka sa kapatid mo. Siyempre, ayaw rin yon ni Daddy. Ayoko rin masaktan si Daddy,” he said, expressing his love and respect for Jimuel.

Jimuel is the son of Manny with Jinkee Pacquiao, while Eman is Manny’s son with Joanna Bacosa.

Eman added, “Saka I really love you, Kuya.”

During a recent guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, he shared that despite their busy lives, he and his brother Jimuel Pacquiao continue to support each other’s careers. While they may be pursuing the same path in boxing, he made it clear that he draws the line at ever facing his own brother in the ring.

It is no secret that Eman started young in boxing, having naturally discovered the sport through the influence of his father, who inspired him.

Beyond the ring, he is now also making a name for himself as an actor. His latest project, Never Say Die, features a star-studded cast including Jillian Ward, David Licauco, Kim Ji Soo, and Raheel Bhyria, among others.
