Sen. Bato dela Rosa Sends Message for RAGE Coalition Members amid Long-Term Absence in Senate
BATO DELA ROSA – The Senator sent his message at the launching of the Reform Alliance for Good Governance and Accountability (RAGE) coalition amid his long-term absence in the Senate.
Recently, the Reform Alliance for Good Governance and Accountability or the RAGE coalition was formed. It will be led by Davao Mayor Baste Duterte who is now the president of the PDP-Laban. The political party’s chairman is no other than his own father, former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

The presidency of the PDP-Laban was previously held by Senator Robin Padilla. However, halfway in 2025, the Senator took a leave to focus on his legislative duties. According to the Senator, it is an answered prayer for him that the political party will now be led by a member of the Duterte family.
Padilla stressed that no one can better lead the group than someone who is a Duterte. Aside from the Senator, another member of the Senate, Sen. Bato dela Rosa, also gave a message at the launching of the RAGE coalition.

Sen. Bato dela Rosa spoke at the launching of the RAGE coalition through a video message. In his message, he expressed his support to the creation of the coalition that is supposedly a gathering of the forces that are ready to stand for the truth, accountability, and the welfare of the Filipino people.
“Taos-puso kong sinusuportahan ang pagbuo ng RAGE coalition. Isang pagkakaisa ng iba’t ibang pwersa na handang tumindig para sa katotohanan, pananagutan, at kapakanan ng sambayanang Pilipino,” the Senator said.

According to Sen. Bato dela Rosa, individual capacities are allegedly not enough now. He stressed that there is supposedly a need for a common voice, direction, and a strong conviction against corruption, abuse, and the alleged ways to silence the opposition.
“Sa panahong ito, hindi na sapat ang kanya-kanyang laban. Kailangan natin ng isang tinig, iisang direksyon at matibay na panininindigan laban sa katiwalian, pag-aabuso, at mga hakbang na naglalayong patahimikin ang oposisyon,” he expressed.

Sen. Bato dela Rosa is no show in the Senate sessions since November 2025 when Ombudsman Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla claimed that the International Criminal Court (ICC) has allegedly released an arrest warrant against the Senator. He is tagged as supposedly one of the key role players in the Duterte drug war.
“Hindi tayo papayag na gamitin ang pulitika para patahimikin ang mga lider na tunay na naglilingkod sa bayan. Ang laban na ito ay hindi lamang para sa iilan. Ito ay laban para sa bawat Pilipino na naghahangad ng maayos na pamahalaan, makatarungang sistema, at may magandang kinabukasan. Panahon na para magkaisa, panahon na para manindigan,” Dela Rosa said in his message at the launching of the RAGE coalition based on the post.
At the event, Sen. Robin Padilla also hinted at the possible presidential run of Davao Mayor Baste Duterte after his sister, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, runs for president in the next election.
