Richard Gutierrez talked about working with Barbie Imperial
Kapamilya actor Richard Gutierrez had this answer when asked if he is ready to have a new family with actress Barbie Imperial.
Richard has been separated from his estranged wife, actress Sarah Lahbati, and it was previously reported that they are already in the process of their annulment. The actor is currently in a relationship with Barbie, and just recently, their first project together was through the series Blood vs Duty.
During a recent media conference, based on the article in Bandera, Richard shared that he and Barbie had talked about the possibility of working together.
Richard Gutierrez shared that this is an exciting journey, and they were thankful for the guidance from the creatives. During the interview, Barbie Imperial was also asked about her thoughts on her first project with her boyfriend.
She said that she was still doing the Sins of the Father when this new project was pitched to her. Initially, she had no idea who her co-stars were. “I’m so grateful and thankful. And yes I’m so happy kami kasi ni Richard mahilig siyang manood ng films ng kung anu-ano and ang dami niyang ideas (at) minsan out of nowhere ang dami na niyang plano. We wanted to work (together) matagal na, so, I’m so grateful and thankful,” the actress shared.
Then, Richard was asked if he was ready to create a new family with Barbie. “Family (nagulat)!? Naku, malayo pa! Mina-manage ko pa ‘yung isa kong family (mga anak); mahirap at naka-focus ako ngayon sa work,” the actor shared.
He also said that right now, his main focus is his new series, emphasizing that he is not looking beyond anything, as of the moment.
Richard Gutierrez also said that he is inspired by life, his work, and the good times ahead, especially since his series is not in the first slot on ABS-CBN’s primetime programming.
This series is directed by FM Reyes, Bjoy Balagtas, and Rico Navarro, with Erwin Tagle as action director. The writers include Dindo Perez, Cenon Palomares, Jann Kayla Mendoza, and Shania Vonzel.
Richard Gutierrez will play Marcus, Bela Padilla will play Lara, and Baron Geisler will play Felix as government agents who have a mission to end the widespread violence caused by illegal guns.
Meanwhile, in a recent statement, Barbie Imperial revealed that she received an expensive gift from Annabelle Rama, her boyfriend’s mother.
