Here’s what Bianca Gonzalez shared as PBB flips a new chapter.
The Pinoy Big Brother house is closing its doors to move to a new location, and this is what Bianca Gonzalez shared.
On Tuesday, Laurenti Dyogi, head of TV Production and Star Magic, confirmed that the Pinoy Big Brother house is closing its doors. This will allow the well-loved reality show to flip a new chapter, as it will move to a new location.
“It’s time. This is the time that we officially say goodbye to the house. We’ve sustained this for 21 years. Years back I’ve been seeing the possibility of moving out of this property. But the collab happened with Channel 7, so found good reason to keep the house,” Dyogi said.
The property where the PBB house has been standing for over two decades has been sold, but through requests for an extended lease, they were able to air two editions of “PBB Celebrity Collab” with GMA 7.
The PBB house was constructed in 2005 and was finished after three months. It has a total area of 1,400 square meters, and the total cost back then was a staggering PHP 15 million.
One of the main hosts of the reality show, Bianca Gonzalez, bade goodbye to the house that changed a lot of lives in her new post. Based on her post, it was a place that transformed the lives of many for good.
In a recent episode of Gonzalez’s podcast Paano Ba ’To, Marcus Vinuya revealed that at the time, the team behind Pinoy Big Brother was already considering moving to a new house.
Originally, the house’s layout had two bedrooms, one bathroom, a garden, a pool, and 26 cameras that worked 24/7. According to the contractor, it was built to last only for five years but miraculously lasted for 21 years.
