Mikael Daez Gives New Glimpse Of His Comeback After Tough Achilles Injury
MIKAEL DAEZ – Six months after suffering a serious Achilles tendon injury, Mikael Daez is now back on his feet and gradually regaining his strength.
Mikael Daez recently offered fans another update about his recovery journey after suffering a torn Achilles tendon, revealing that he is now six months into rehabilitation. The actor shared glimpses of the progress he has made since the injury, showing how far he has come from the early stages of recovery to where he is today.
In a recent social media post, Mikael gave followers a closer look at the difficult yet rewarding process of regaining his strength and mobility. The actor explained that the injury required months of dedication to rehabilitation, but he is proud of the improvements he has achieved along the way.

“Recovering from a torn achilles tendon has been quite the journey!” Mikael shared on Instagram.
Through a video documenting his progress, Mikael showed how challenging the first weeks were. During the initial stage of his recovery, he relied on crutches and wore a walking boot just to move around. However, with consistent rehabilitation and determination, he gradually regained his physical abilities.
By the 15th week of recovery, the actor had already progressed to more demanding exercises such as agility drills and box jumps. The transformation from barely walking to performing athletic movements again highlighted how committed he has been to his rehabilitation process.
One particularly meaningful moment during his recovery involved his son, Baby Leon. Mikael shared that relearning how to walk around the same time his child was taking steps made the experience even more special and memorable for him as a father.
Although he happily described himself as already “happily jumping around,” the injury also changed the way he approaches physical activity. Mikael admitted that the experience made him more mindful when it comes to staying active and protecting his body from future harm.
While he still enjoys exercising and pushing his limits, he now focuses more on being careful and “reducing the recklessness” that could potentially lead to another injury.
The actor is also not facing the final phase of his rehabilitation alone. Mikael revealed that he has been training together with his wife, Megan Young, whom he lovingly calls “Boneezy.” The couple is currently working hard to reach their shared goal of getting into their “best shape possible.”
Fans and fellow celebrities quickly filled the comments section with encouraging messages as Mikael continues moving forward in his recovery.
It can be recalled that Mikael first revealed his injury in September 2025 through an Instagram post, where he initially informed followers about his torn Achilles tendon.
