ABS-CBN superstar Vice Ganda shares these posts online about the toxic fans of Pinoy Big Brother housemates.
In the recent It’s Showtime episode, PBB Collab 2.0 big winners, Lella Ford and Caprice Cayetano, were among the special guests. In the recently concluded edition of the reality show, the other placements of the Ultimate 8 were:
- 2nd Big Placers – Heath Jornales and Krystal Mejes
- 3rd Big Placers – Ashley Sarmiento and Joaquin Arce
- 4th Big Placers – Princess Aliyah and Miguel Vergara
They were able to build strong and huge fan bases, and as fans, they always feel the need to look out for their idols. They often call out those who do wrong or offensive things against their idols. They are always there to defend their idols.
Following the guesting of the big winners, ABS-CBN superstar Vice Ganda took to social media to share her thoughts about the fans who blasted her. In several posts on X (formerly Twitter), she shared that there are a lot of fans of the PBB housemates, showing how low their functional literacy is. It seems for Vice, some have reached the point of being unreasonable and crossed boundaries.
These toxic fans are also the reason why the show’s staff often end up sighing whenever those housemates are guests, because some ‘fantards’ will complain or create drama over the smallest things. The show’s staff reportedly feels more stressed than excited when those housemates appear as guests, anticipating possible backlash from overly defensive fans.
Responding to a fan, she wrote, “Tulad nito! Kelan ako naging ninang ni Lella??? Di ko nga alam kung nabinyagan na yan e! To naman makagawa lang ng chika. Magbasa basa ka na nga lng ng libro na bata ka para kahit papano maging smart ka. Go start na sa page 1!”
