Joaquin, who finished as one of the third big placers alongside fellow contestant Ashley Sarmiento, was one of the reasons why Angel Locsin paused her social media hiatus to cheer on him and support him.

The reality season proved to be a breakthrough opportunity for Joaquin, generating buzz about his ambitions in showbiz and showcasing how he took on challenges during his time inside the PBB house.

After the big night, through a social media post, Angel shared the bonding moment she had with her stepson, Joaquin, along with Neil Arce. He spent quality time with them, showing a closer family connection now that the reality competition has wrapped up.

He spent four months inside the PBB house and has savored the moment of freedom and family on his first night in the outside world. Based on the post, the household stayed up until the early hours just to make up for lost time.

“It felt like he didn’t want the night to end,” she said, describing how the family huddled together on the living room floor, sharing stories and indulging in whatever late-night food Joaquin had been craving for months.

He’s been eager to open up about his experiences inside the house, and at the same time, they were helping him catch up on everything he missed in the outside world during his four-month isolation.

Locsin also pointed out a small yet revealing habit: Joaquin would occasionally reach for his lapel microphone out of instinct, a subtle sign of how deeply he had grown accustomed to being constantly monitored inside the house.

Now, back to the real world, he is excited to begin working again.

“He’s so excited to share his stories from inside, and we’re doing our best to catch him up on the outside world after 4 months in the PBB house. He still instinctively looks for his lapel mic sometimes, but he’s excited to work, thank everyone who supported him, and finally say hi to the outside world,” Angel wrote.
