With the New Minimum Lotto Prizes, PCSO Makes Lottery Games More Exciting

PCSO – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office announced a raise on the lotto prize for players who will hit four (4) numbers.

Based on a report on GMA News, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office announced at least P1 million lotto prize for players who will hit four (4) winning numbers starting February 1, 2026. There is also a slight change on the prize of the lotto ticket which will be raised from P20.00 to P25.00.

“Simula Pebrero 1, 2026, ang lahat ng jackpot-bearing game tickets ay magkakahalaga na ng ₱25.00,” the lotto operator said.

According to PCSO, the raise in the prize of the lotto ticket is in line with the pursuit to give the lottery games a “more competitive ‘risk-to-reward’ ratio”. The state-run lotto operator’s minimum jackpot prizes are the following:

  •     Lotto 6/42 – previously P6 million now P10 Million
  •     Mega Lotto 6/45 – previously P9M now P15M
  •     Super Lotto 6/49 – previously P16M now P25M
  •     Grand Lotto 6/55 – previously P30M now P45M
  •     Ultralotto 6/58 – previously P50M now P75M

“More importantly, the increased participation fueled by these larger jackpots directly expands the funds generated for the PCSO’s vital mission: providing health, medical assistance, and social welfare programs to millions of Filipinos,” the state-run lotto operator said.

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office said the progressive jackpot system will continue. Thus, if there’s lotto winner in a draw, the jackpot prize will continue to increase until the jackpot prize is won. Based on the report, with regards to the PCSO lotto consolation prizes, at least P1 million is set under each major lotto game and the players who hit four (4) winning numbers from the winning draw will share the prize.

  •     Lotto 6/42 – up to P1.1M (five numbers) P1M (four numbers)
  •     Mega Lotto 6/45 – P1.2M (5) P1.1M (4)
  •     Super Lotto 6/49 – P1.3M (5) P1.2M (4)

The PCSO stressed that the higher starting jackpot prizes show the state-run entity’s commitment to keep the games exciting while making sure of the long-term sustainability of the charitable initiatives. According to the lotto operator, “every ticket purchased is not just a chance to win; it’s a contribution to the nation’s welfare”.
