ANTONIO TRILLANES – The former Senator claimed that a plunder case might allegedly be filed against Vice President Sara Duterte this week.

Recently, the spokesperson of BAYAN confirmed that they might refile another impeachment case against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. Multiple impeachment complaints were previously filed against the Vice President but the Supreme Court ruled that the impeachment rap against her is “unconstitutional”.

The Senate archived the impeachment complaint against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte after the Supreme Court ruled the impeachment rap as ‘unconstitutional’. Nineteen senators voted in favor of the archiving of the impeachment rap against the Vice President:

Amid the President’s claim that he has nothing to do with the impeachment complaint against the Vice President, Pres. Bongbong Marcos claimed that the Supreme Court ruling on Duterte’s impeachment case allegedly has “no bearing on merits”.

Recently, Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (BAYAN) chairperson Teddy Casiño admitted that they are still studying the possible refiling of an impeachment case against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. According to him, the Supreme Court has added several conditions.

“Pinag-aaralan kasi namin ano ‘yung naging implications nitong Supreme Court ruling… Maraming dinagdag na mga conditions ang Supreme Court. Medyo mas mahirap na ngayong mag-file ng impeachment. So ’yun ang mga pinag-aaralan. Of course, the intention is there,” the BAYAN chairman said.

Recently, former Sen. Antonio Trillanes made a claim against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. Based on a post of News5 on social media, the former Senator claimed that a plunder case might be filed against the Vice President this week.
