Miss Universe 2025 Under Fire: Fatima Bosch Reveals the Truth Behind the Controversy
FATIMA BOSCH – Controversy may be raging online, but Fatima Bosch remains unwavering in her decision to keep her Miss Universe 2025 crown.
Miss Universe 2025 Fatima Bosch has spoken out for the first time about the issues surrounding her win. During her appearance on ABC News’ “Good Morning America,” she tackled the growing accusations of favoritism and vote manipulation that some critics insist influenced the outcome of the pageant.
Fatima dismissed speculation that her victory was connected to an alleged relationship between her father, Bernardo Bosch Hernandez, and Miss Universe Organization (MUO) co-owner Raul Rocha. Various online posts claimed the two were business partners and implied this supposed link helped secure her crown. The reigning queen immediately refuted these claims.
“They make, like, this campaign of hate. My father has nothing to do with the organization.
“And it’s crazy. How are you going to buy a crown? Maybe in Walmart, you can buy a crown, yeah. But not in Miss Universe, for sure,” she stressed.
She likewise addressed the accusations made by Lebanese composer and businessman Omar Harfouch, who asserted that the list of Top 30 candidates had already been decided before the live competition. Fatima did not shy away from responding to his controversial remarks.
“My response to them and to him was that if maybe he wanted, like, more followers on Instagram, he should, like, I don’t know, get into a [TV] show,” Fatima said.
Despite the heated discussions and ongoing criticism, Fatima remains unwavering in her stance about keeping her title. She made it clear that stepping down is not an option, emphasizing the dedication and hard work that led her to the crown.
“I think I make history. So why not?
“But of course, no, I make the same effort that all the pageant [candidates] make. And this is a job. I will never step away for this crown because I work really, really hard to be here,” she explained.
Fatima also reiterated her deeper purpose as Miss Universe, emphasizing that her role is centered on service rather than personal recognition or superficial pursuits.
“I’m not here for fame of modelling or searching [for a] husband. I’m here because God put a purpose on my heart. I have a mission and I will do that all year, to serve others and help,” she added.
