Pres. Bongbong Marcos Says Pinoys Must Know Who Is Responsible for their Suffering

BONGBONG MARCOS – The President was asked about the possibility of his allies being the ones responsible over the suffering of the Filipinos.

A week ago, Pres. Marcos delivered his SONA or State of the Nation Address 2025. It was the fourth time that gave a report before the 20th Congress and the Filipino people about the accomplishments of the government and the plans.

Marcos Jr. is halfway to the end of his term. According to the President, in the first three (3) years of his term, the government was able to increase the production of several agricultural products. He also stressed that the government is able to show the people that the P20 per kilo rice is achievable without having the farmers on the losing end.

Pres. Bongbong Marcos assured the people that the government remains to prioritize the education sector in the country. According to him, more classrooms will be built in the last three (3) years of his term and the government will also push to digitizing the schools.

Furthermore, Pres. Marcos said that teachers in public schools will be paid for their overtime work and the excess in their workloads. He also claimed that the laptops for public school teachers have already arrived.

With regards to the budget of the Philippines, Pres. Bongbong Marcos vowed that he will not approve budget proposals that are “misaligned” with the government plans. According to him, he will return proposals that are not in line with the National Expenditure Program or NEP and can go as far as having a reenactd budget.

Marcos Jr. also spoke about plan of the government to hold the corrupt officials accountable. He called on those who are pocketing the money of the people to be ashamed of what they are doing.

Recently, during a podcast interview, Pres. Bongbong Marcos spoke about seeking to hold the people behind the sufferings of the Filipinos accountable. Based on a clip posted by the Presidential Communications Office, he stressed that the Filipinos deserve to know who are responsible for their sufferings.

“Yung dinadaanan na hirap na dinadanas ng ating mga kababayan, they have to be told who is responsible, and somebody has to answer for their suffering,” the President said.

During the interview, Pres. Bongbong Marcos was asked about the possibility that the ones responsible for the sufferings of the people are his allies. According to the Chief Executive, he will no longer be in an allegiance with people who are doing illegal activities that impact the Filipinos’ situation.

“Sorry na lang. Hindi na kita kaalyado kung ganyan ang ginagawa mo, ayaw na kitang kaalyado,” Marcos Jr. said.
