Former Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition 1 housemates Zanjoe Marudo and Bianca Gonzalez were once again reunited.
Inside the Pinoy Big Brother house, the housemates were enclosed in a place where the people they would have to deal with every day were each other. Falling in love and building a deeper relationship are among the most common things that happen inside the house.
In 20 years of airing, one of the most memorable editions was the Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition 1, where among the housemates were Zanjoe Marudo and Bianca Gonzalez. They have this special closeness inside the house, and a lot of viewers have loved them and their pair-up.
The controversy was sparked by the fact that Bianca was then in a relationship with director Lino Cayetano. Although their PBB stint has ended, what was started inside did not flourish outside. They never became an official couple.
Last March of this year, Bianca was asked in an interview if she really did fall in love with Marudo way back in 2006, and she admitted, “Yes, hindi naman ma-i-de-deny. Na-i-upload na sa mga social media.”
She recalled that after the Big Night, she tried to fix her relationship with Cayetano; however, a year later, they broke up. She shared, “Pagkatapos ng Big Night, umiiyak po ako kay Tito Boy hanggang 5 a.m. yata tayo. Sobrang umiiyak. Triny kong ayusin ‘yung relasyon ko doon sa aking karelasyon noong panahon na ‘yun. Nagkabalikan kami, pero nag-break din kami mga isang taon pagkatapos noon.”
Recently, a photo of her interviewing Marudo for her show “The B Side” surfaced online. It caught a lot of attention and brought back memories to the people, especially to those who have watched their journey in PBB.
