Male Suspect Allegedly Abused 15-Year-Old Girl in Gas Station Restroom
A 15-year-old girl was allegedly abused by a 48-year-old man inside the restroom of a gas station in Marikina City.
On Tuesday evening (July 8, 2025), the police officers on patrol noticed a young girl waiting outside the restroom of the gas station in Barangay Concepcion Uno, Marikina City. When they approached her, she said she was waiting for her sister.
“Pinapaigting ‘yung pag-implement ng city ordinances lalo na ‘yung sa curfew sa minor. Mga bandang 10:30 ng gabi, nakita ‘yung isang bata na parang may hinihintay, nung sinita, sabi nung bata hinihintay niya ‘yung kapatid niya na nasa CR,” Marikina City Police Station chief Col. Geoffrey Fernandez said.
After a few moments, a man stepped out of the women’s restroom, followed by another teenage girl. It made the officers suspicious, so they decided to talk to the girl. The teen told the police that the man kissed her and touched her private parts.
After the incident, he gave her P150. Police immediately took the man into custody. It was found that he works as a crew member at the convenience store connected to the gas station.
“Pagkatapos gahasain sa loob ng CR, binigyan ‘yung menor de edad ng P150,” Fernandez said.
The man denied the accusations. He claimed he was just shaving inside the women’s restroom because it was more comfortable. He also said that he didn’t know the girl was inside and explained that he often saw her around asking for money.
Regarding the P150, he claimed she simply asked him to complete a small amount she had collected.

The young girl was taken for a medical examination and will also receive counseling to help her recover emotionally from what happened.
The suspect is now being held at the Marikina City Police Station. He is facing charges of statutory rape. Authorities are continuing their investigation to make sure justice is served.
