Pokwang Threatens Legal Action After Fyang Smith Fans Allegedly Target Her Daughter
POKWANG – Comedienne Pokwang is taking a stand to protect her daughter Malia after fans of PBB winner Fyang Smith allegedly dragged the child into online hate.
Pokwang has publicly expressed her intent to pursue legal action against fans of Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 winner Fyang Smith, after her daughter, Malia, was allegedly mentioned in a series of hostile online comments. The actress took to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal that she has collected evidence of the remarks made by some supporters of Smith.
“She’s the one with fans who love her so much, to the point that even my daughter Malia is spoken about negatively! I have already taken screenshots of the comments so I can sue,” Pokwang posted.

The controversy began when Pokwang offered advice to Smith, urging her “to be humble” after the reality star declared that her PBB batch was “unbeatable.” The comment coincided with the anticipated announcement of the new Big 4 winners from Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab, stirring debates online.
Pokwang emphasized the importance of humility in the entertainment industry, citing her 21-year career and the values she’s upheld throughout. “The times I worked with Nadine, Liza Soberano, Sandara Park, Kim Chiu, and Melai are unforgettable, even the times with Marian Rivera, Vilma Santos, Eddie Garcia, Tatay Dolphy, and Gloria Romero,” she wrote.
“I’m glad that before I became outdated, I already worked with the biggest names in the industry, including John Lloyd, Aga, Claudine Barretto, Bossing Vic and Judy Ann Santos. It’s okay to be unpopular if I have already worked with them,” she continued.

Smith, meanwhile, has faced backlash not only for her statements about her PBB batch being “unsurpassable” but also for a controversial act caught on video during a public appearance. In the clip, she was seen placing her saliva on a fellow star’s face using her finger while he was speaking — behavior that many netizens deemed disrespectful.
As of now, Smith has not issued any public response regarding the online criticisms, Pokwang’s posts, or the circulating videos.
