Chavit Singson expressed dismay to PBBM
Businessman-politician Chavit Singson said that President Bongbong Marcos has Alzheimer’s disease because of this.
Chavit is one of the most prominent figures in politics in the Philippines. Over the years, he was associated with high-ranking officials, and he has been open about the candidates he was supporting.
Chavit supported the candidacy of the winning tandem of PBBM and Vice President Sara Duterte in the 2022 elections.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Abante, the businessman-politician expressed dismay about the treatment he received from President Bongbong Marcos.
Chavit Singson had this statement in his recent “At the Forefront” interview on ng Bilyonaryo News Channel. He revealed that Senator Imee Marcos asked for his help to back up BBM’s candidacy.
At that time, Chavit was the president of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines and the mayor of Narvacan, Ilocos Sur.
It was said that the plan was that if Inday Sara would run for president, Marcos would step down to the position of vice president. However, Chavit said that PBBM has already forgotten that he helped in his candidacy.
“Pero after election, may Alzheimer’s na si Bongbong, hindi na ako kilala,” the businessman-politician said. Then, Chavit expressed that this might be the last. “Ito na siguro [ang] last na pag-support namin sa mga Marcoses dahil hindi na kami kilala,” he said.
Meanwhile, Chavit Singson became a trending topic on social media over the past few days. It was because of the videos and photos showing that he was spotted with Sparkle GMA Artist Center talent Keisha Serna at a hotel lobby. Negative speculations surfaced on social media after that.
However, businesswoman-philanthropist Chemist Pinky Tobiano denied that there was something romantic between Chavit and Keisha. Pinky said that she was the one who invited Keisha to join Chavit’s birthday celebration. The businesswoman also stressed that there were a lot of them at the lobby at that time, and it just so happened that Chavit and Keisha were photographed together, and they were not included.
