Mark Herras was present at Lolit Solis’ wake
Actor Mark Herras shared that he will surely miss this about his former manager Lolit Solis.
Many showbiz personalities mourned the death of the veteran entertainment writer and prominent talent manager. For many decades, Lolit’s name was known for both good and bad reasons.
As a talent manager, she was well-loved by many prominent celebrities in the Philippines. One of her talents was Mark. However, in 2021, the actor left Lolit as his manager.
Back then, Lolit Solis shared a negative write-up about Mark Herras. It was regarding his “debt.” However, in an interview back in February, the actor said that he has no “tampo” to his former manager, but he was just saddened.
On July 7, Mark was one of the celebrities present at Lolit’s wake at Aeternitas Chapels and Columbarium in Quezon City, based on the article in Bandera.
Even though a slight conflict occurred between him and Lolit, he never took this against her. He has high respect for his former talent manager, and he considers her a mother.
When asked what he will miss most about Lolit, Mark said, “Siyempre, yung walang prenong bibig ni Nanay. Kahit saan si Nanay, kapag may gusto siyang sabihin sa ‘yo, sasabihin niya yun.”
For him, it was a way of Lolit of showing love to a person. To recall, Kapuso actor Paolo Contis almost had the same statement about Lolit Solis. Paolo called his former talent manager his “enemy.”
It was because Lolit would openly criticize him on social media. However, Paolo said that he knew it was just Lolit’s “love language.”
Meanwhile, aside from Mark Herras, other celebrities who were present at the wake last Monday were Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez, who sang a song, and celebrity couples Tonton Gutierrez and Glydel Mercado, Christopher de Leon, and Sandy Andolong.
