Mark Herras talked about his career
Kapuso actor Mark Herras was asked if he has “tampo” to GMA Network and his former manager Lolit Solis.
Mark was hailed as the first-ever StarStruck Ultimate Male Survivor. From joining the Kapuso talent search, doors of opportunities in showbiz opened for him. His loveteam with Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado was a hit.
However, Mark has seldom done TV and movie projects in recent years. He also had an issue with his former manager regarding financial matters.

When Mark Herras was seen performing at a male entertainment bar, he received negative comments from the online community. However, there were those who defended him, like Representative Rowena Guanzon who pointed out that there was nothing wrong with what the actor did to support his family.
In a recent interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Mark was asked by the King of Talk if he has ill feelings toward GMA and his former manager. The actor was not able to renew his contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
“Ah, tampo? It’s more of nalungkot lang,” he said. The sadness he felt was for the fact that his contract was not renewed. He admitted last year that he was not happy about the status of his career.
“Pero tampo? Hindi,” he said, adding that he is not that kind of person. He also stressed that he has a lot of things to think about in his life, to dwell on that kind of feeling. Mark also said that he has no “tampo” to Lolit.
When Tito Boy asked the actor about some people’s comments that he did not show improvement or evolved in showbiz, Mark said that he tried his best and did his part as an actor.
He said that he had workshops and improved his body built. “Hindi ko naman sasabihin na sobrang galing ko umarte pero masasabi ko na alam ko marunong akong umarte,” Mark Herras said.
