Sef Cadayona and his non-showbiz girlfriend apparently separated
Kapuso actor Sef Cadayona was slammed by his non-showbiz ex-girlfriend Nelan Vivero because of his Father’s Day guesting.
Sef has been under the management of the Kapuso network for several years already. He has done drama and comedy projects, including being a cast member in the longest-running gag show Bubble Gang.
However, in 2023, he left the show. He shared back then that it was his time to graduate and take another path in his life. In that same interview, he honestly admitted he felt like he was not given projects that he deserved.
To recall, in that same year, reports circulated that Sef Cadayona proposed to his non-showbiz girlfriend. A year later, they welcomed their baby.
From that, the public has not had updates about Sef’s relationship with Nelan and their baby. On Father’s Day, Nelan shared a series of intriguing posts on her Instagram Story.
She shared a photo of Sef’s guesting with the caption, “Really? Makng money off being a dad? Seriously? Still not done pretending to be someone you’re not? Happy father’s day? Celebrating father’s day?” Nelan even tagged Sef’s IG page in this.
With this, it showed that they were not okay but it was not specified for how long this has been going on. Then, Nelan said that it was difficult for Sef to say his wish from his family because he was given a complete family but he chose to prioritize other people. She also accused the actor of letting history repeat itself.
In her next post, Nelan apologized to the public for sharing this personal matter. She should’ve just stayed quiet but seeing Sef Cadayona accepted a Father’s Day guesting like he has done something to deserve that, did not sit well with Nelan.
“I went through hell because of him and his family both during my pregnancy and postpartum,” she stressed, adding that Sef should feel even a little shame because of this.
Nelan also pointed out that fathers who are rubbing it in their partners and children’s faces that they are the providers are not real fathers. “Responsibility isn’t something you assign to yourself. It’s something you step up to, no question asked. Right, @sefcadayona?” she said.
