KZ and TJ tied the knot in 2020 and that was during the pandemic. In several interviews, they shared their love story that brought inspiration and the feeling of “kilig” to many people.
They are now in their 11th year of being together and the love between them continues to grow stronger.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Manila Bulletin, KZ Tandingna and TJ Monterde asked about the love advice they could share with the public.
“Simple lang yung sagot ko. Knowing your partner’s love language. It’s a practical answer, pero ang laki-laki ng tulong sa relationship,” the couple shared.
For TJ, the small details about his partner made their relationship last. Then, he shared an instance when his small gesture made a great impact on his wife.
There was a time when he entered the room, he saw that KZ was teary-eyed and he asked her what happened. “Tapos sabi ni KZ sa akin kasi nilagyan mo ng toothpaste yung toothbrush ko, kaya siya naging emotional kasi ang love language ni KZ ay acts of service,” the Palagi singer said.
For KZ’s part, knowing her husband’s love language made her realize how much she loves him. She stressed that this made them understand each other better.
Knowing TJ’s love language, she would know how she would show her love for him. The Mahal Ko O Mahal Ako singer added that they are being mindful of each other. During decision-making, they would think about what each other would feel if they did that certain thing and this worked for them and their relationship.
