Honeylet Avanceña Accompanies Former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte at Custody of Authorities
DUTERTE – The former President was spotted in a video trying to calm his common-law wife, Honeylet Avanceña, who was not in favor of him going with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Interpol.
The former President went home to the Philippines today from Hong Kong where he attended a thanksgiving event by the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC). The event was supposedly a part of the campaign sorties of the PDP-Laban.

However, the Hong Kong authorities did not allow the campaign in a public assembly. Meanwhile, the former President had the chance to talk to the overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).

On his rumored arrest warrant from the ICC, former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte said that his actions were for the peace and security in the country. He stressed that assuming that the accusations are true, it is for the Pinoys and the youth.

Amid the rumors, Malacañang did not confirm if there is indeed an arrest warrant against the former President. The Office of the Solicitor General also cited that the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) is the entry point.
Recently, former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte arrived from Hong Kong. Unexpectedly, upon his arrival at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), the authorities of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Interpol Manila arrested the former Chief Executive.
Senator Bong Go also arrived at NAIA before the flight of the former President has landed. Former Pres. Duterte arrived with his common-law partner, Honeylet Avanceña. Based on a video clip posted by their daughter, Veronica “Kitty” Duterte, she even tried to convince the former Chief Executive not to go with the authorities.
Honeylet told the former President that the authorities have no arrest warrant. She could be heard telling the former President that the men were “abusive” for doing so. Duterte tried to calm down his common-law wife.

Previously, it was former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte himself who dared the ICC to hurry up its investigation as he might die. He stressed that he is not impressed with their capabilities as they were not able to imprison anyone.
