Concerned Netizen Caught Thieves Breaking Into Their Home in Talisay City, Negros Occidental
BURGLARY – A concerned netizen shared a shocking video online showing thieves breaking into their home.
Burglary is a crime where someone illegally enters a building, usually a home or business, with the intent to commit a crime inside. The crime is often theft, but it can also include vandalism or other offenses.
Unlike robbery, burglary does not require direct confrontation with a victim. For example, if someone breaks into a house while the owners are away to steal valuables, that is considered burglary.

Recently, Rizza Jereza, a Facebook user, posted the CCTV footage of several men entering their home. The video quickly went viral and garnered various reactions from the online community.
According to Jereza, the incident happened around 10 PM on March 6, 2025 (Thursday) in Zone 1, Talisay City. The CCTV footage showed two men sneaking into the property, carrying weapons, and covering the security camera near the gate. Despite the well-lit surroundings, the suspects had no fear of being caught.
Jereza recounted that she noticed one of the burglars peeking through a window. Acting quickly, she screamed for help, which likely scared them off. She shuddered at the thought of what could have happened if she hadn’t noticed them in time, especially since the door was still unlocked.
Rizzashared the video online in hopes of identifying the suspects and raising awareness about the rising number of break-ins. She urged residents, particularly those in Zone 1, to stay alert and take extra precautions to protect their homes.
The video has a caption:
“Posting for awareness This happened around 10 pm may dala pa sla nga weapon. Bsi may naka kilala da sa mga taga Zone 1 Talisay. Paki share nlng pra madakpan sla. Wala hadlok mag sulod nga sanag2 sng palibot gn tabunan pa nla ang cctv sa gate. Mayo lng gd kay nakita ko sya nag sneak sa window kag nka shagit ko. What if wala? Open pa nman ang door”
