37TH ALIW AWARDS WINNERS 2024 – Here is a full list of the awardees at this year’s prestigious awarding event for different categories in the field of entertainment.

One of the biggest fields that have hooked countless people is the entertainment arena or also called show business. Undeniably, in the Philippines, millions of Filipinos are updated in showbiz and there are even those who are more updated in the entertainment industry than politics.

Usually, every year, there are several award-giving bodies that hold events to give special recognitions for the brilliance and contributions of groups and individuals in the entertainment field. Many actors and actresses are not into their craft for awards but having one really gives so much honor.

Annually, one of the awarding events that happen to recognize the brilliance of actors, actresses, producers, and other significant people in the entertainment field is the Aliw Awards. Recently, the 37th Aliw Awards winners this year 2024 were announced.

Filipino journalist Alice H. Reyes established the BBC to give recognition for the achievements of the live entertainment in the field. The National Press Club found the BBC in 1975 prior to it being managed by the Aliw Awards Foundation, Inc.

It was in 1977 when the first award show was held and legendary singer Pilita Corales bagged the first Entertainer of the Year award. In 1978, it was won by Rico Puno followed by Celeste Legaspi in 1979.

Singer Regine Velasquez won the Entertainment of the Year award in 2007, 2009, and 2019. For this year 2024, Marian Rivera’s daughter Zia Dantes is one of the Aliw Award awardees. Here are the 37th Aliw Awards winners:
