PAG-IBIG FUND HELPS REQUIREMENTS 2025 – If you are an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) member, here is a guide on the documents you must submit for application to the Pag-IBIG Fund Health and Education Loan programs.
When it comes to loan-providing entities in the Philippines, one of those that many people trust and in which their membership has brought a lot of benefits is the Pag-IBIG Fund. Millions of Filipinos, not only Pinoys residing in the country but as well as abroad.
The Pag-IBIG Fund has several loan offers. Undeniably, the Pag-IBIG Housing Loan is the most popular among the many loan offers of the Fund. It is ready to finance several purposes including the acquisition of residential properties, the building of a house, a housing loan take-out, a home renovation, and a combination of the mentioned purposes.
Through the years, the Pag-IBIG Fund has added more options into its list of loan offers. Now, Pag-IBIG loans including the Pag-IBIG HELPs or the Pag-IBIG Fund Health and Education Loan programs.
The Pag-IBIG HELPs was crafted to provide financial solutions for the qualified members of the Fund who need some budget for health and educational purposes. Here are the qualifications set by the Fund under the loan offer:
- an active Pag-IBIG member with at least one (1) monthly contribution posted within the last six (6) months
- with at least 24 monthly membership savings under the Pag-IBIG Regular Savings
- avail the loan from Pag-IBIG HELPs partner schools and/or hospitals
Under the Pag-IBIG Fund Health and Education Loan programs or the Pag-IBIG HELPs, not only the salaried and non-salaried Filipinos residing in the Philippines may apply for the loan offer. It is also open for overseas Filipino worker (OFW) members of the Fund who need some financial solutions for their health and educational needs.
In fact, Pag-IBIG members who have an existing Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan, House Loan, and/or Calamity Loan offer may also apply for it provided that the account is not in default. In applying for the loan offer, there ared documents required by the Fund for application:
- duly-accomplished Pag-IBIG HELPs Application Form
- billing assessment from the HELPs partner school or hospital
- one (1) valid ID
- Philippine Identification (PhilID) Card
- Passportincluding those issued by foreign governments
- Driver’s License
- Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) ID
- National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance
- Police Clearance
- Postal ID
- Voter’s ID
- Tax Identification Number (TIN) ID
- Barangay Certificationor Barangay IDs or similar documents bearing picture of the Member
- Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) e-Card
- Social Security System (SSS) Card
- Senior Citizen Card
- Overseas Workers Welfare Administration(OWWA) ID
- Overseas Filipino WorkerID
- Seaman’s Book or Seafarer’s Identification and Record Book (SIRB)
- Alien Certification of Registration/Immigrant Certificate of Registration
- Government Office and GOCC ID, e.g. AFP ID, Pag-IBIG Fund Loyalty Card
- ID issued by the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA)
- Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Certification
- Integrated Bar of the Philippines ID
- Company ID issued by Private Entities or Institutions Registered with or supervised or regulated either by the BSP, SEC or IC
- PhilHealth Health Insurance Card ng Bayan
The Pag-IBIG Fund requirements under the offer includes documents that prove the income of the member-borrower. In the case of OFW members who want to apply for the loan offer, here are the proof of income required by the Fund:
- Employment Contract:
- Employment Contract between employee and employer; or
- POEA Standard Contract
- Notarized Certificate of Employment and Compensation (CEC)
- CEC written on the Employer/Company’s official letterhead; or
- CEC signed by employer (for household staff and similarly situated employees) supported by a photocopy of the employer’s ID or passport
Aside from the Pag-IBIG HELPs, the Fund also has the Pag-IBIG HEAL that bear a different set of requirements.
