Actress Jennylyn Mercado is included in GMA Christmas Station ID and her fans are delighted about this.
Jennylyn is a homegrown talent of the Kapuso network. She started her showbiz career after winning the first season of GMA’s talent search StarStruck. Jennylyn showcased her acting prowess and her singing talent.
The entirety of her showbiz career was under the Kapuso management. However, back in March, rumors surfaced that the actress would transfer to ABS-CBN. Allegedly, negotiations already started.
The rumored network transfer was prompted by the fact that Jennylyn Mercado signed a contract with Star Music, the music label of ABS-CBN, for her singing career.
However, a source from the Kapamilya network debunked the rumors that the actress was having negotiations with ABS-CBN management. Then, Jennylyn’s absence at the GMA Gala also fueled the rumored network transfer.
However, her hairstylist revealed the reason why the actress was not able to attend the Kapuso annual event. Later on, Jennylyn shared a video showcasing the gown that she was supposed to wear for the gala.
On November 11, GMA released its Christmas Station ID for this year. It featured many Kapuso stars, those in the news and current affairs department and those working behind the camera, and executives. Kapuso fans are happy to see their favorite stars such as primetime royalties Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera.
Among the prominent stars were Kapuso couple Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado. In the comment section on GMA Network’s YouTube channel, some fans expressed that they are happy to see that Jennylyn is now included in the Station ID. “Thank you nakita ko ule si jennylyn mercado sa station ID ng GMA,” a netizen commented about the actress.
