Jennylyn rose to fame when she won in the Kapuso talent search. From that, her career in showbiz blossomed. She was given various projects on TV and did a lot of movies over the years.
Jennylyn also ventured into music and recorded some songs. Her most recent TV project was the series Love. Die. Repeat. with Xian Lim. This served as her comeback project after taking a break when she got pregnant.
As of this writing, there is no announced upcoming project yet for Jennylyn Mercado. A rumor surfaced that she will transfer to ABS-CBN. The rumored network transfer was ignited by a blind item shared by @KafosoMo on X. In the blind item, it was said that the public will just be surprised that an actress has already transferred to “Ignacia,” a slang name for ABS-CBN or Kapamilya network.
“Gigising na lang tayo na nakalipat na si aktres sa Ignacia [eyes emojis],” the post stated. There was no other clues or hints for the blind item.
In the comment section of this post, several netizens asked who that actress would be while some speculated that it was Jennylyn. A netizen commented, “Kala ko nag sign lng sya sa Star Music ksi gagawa sya ng album dun…” Here are some other comments.
Five days ago, Jennylyn shared a photo on her Instagram page. It showed her recording session. “New [musical score emoji, microphone emoji, notes emojis, headset emoji] coming really soon,” she wrote in the caption of her post. This was tagged to the official Instagram page of Star Music, the recording label of ABS-CBN.
As of this writing, Jennylyn Mercado has not spoken yet about the rumors that she will transfer to ABS-CBN.
