Pastor Apollo Quiboloy Arrives at Pasig RTC

PASTOR APOLLO QUIBOLOY – The founder and leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ gave a short message for his followers.

After more than two (2) weeks of intensified police search operations at the KOJC compound in Davao City, Pastor Quiboloy is in the hands of the Philippine authorities. An arrest warrant was issued against him for the charges he is facing in the Philippines.

Aside from the cases filed against the Pastor in the country, there are also charges filed against him in the United States. Previously, Quiboloy set a condition for President Bongbong Marcos for his surrender considering that there are cases filed against him abroad.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) authorities drilled inside the Kingdom of Jesus Christ compound in Davao City. They believed that there might be a bunker where the Pastor may be hiding.

Prior to the arrest of Pastor Quiboloy, both Vice President Sara Duterte and KOJC lawyer Attorney Israelito Torreon who is also the legal counsel of the Pastor expressed their belief that he is no longer inside the KOJC compound. Their statements came amid the PNP authorities doing intensified search ops.

The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) previously announced that there is a P10 million reward for legit information on the whereabouts of the Pastor. Following his arrest, the interior department head Benhur Abalos said that the reward money is left under the decision of the PNP and the offerers of the bounty.

President Bongbong Marcos previously expressed to let Pastor Apollo Quiboloy face the cases filed against him in the Philippines first. Currently, his assets are under a Freeze Order as the Court of Appeals extended the said order until February 2025.

Recently, the authorities brought Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and his co-accused were brought to Pasig Regional Trial Court (RTC). Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, upon his arrival, he was asked about his message for his followers.

“Tatag lang, tatag lang,” the Pastor said.

Previously, the legal counsel of the Pastor and the spokesperson of KOJC, Atty. Torreon, said that Quiboloy’s “surrender” is an “ultimate sacrifice”. He stressed that the Pastor could no longer bear to see the situation at the KOJC compound and the experiences of his members. The camp of Quiboloy wants to appeal the transfer of his custody or a house arrest.
