Hallasgo and her colleagues immediately paid their fare, but as they approached the BSU (Batangas State University) area, the driver told them, “Utoy hindi libre ang inyong sakay papuntang Alangilan.”
Surprised, the students explained that they had already paid, and another passenger even confirmed seeing them hand over the fare. However, the situation escalated, and in the end, despite their protests, they were forced to pay again.
The lady passenger shared the incident online due to her frustration. Many netizens who have encountered similar problems with public transportation shared their experiences.
