Kuya Kim Atienza met Paris Olympics double gold medalist Carlos Yulo and his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.
One of the people who rose not only to national but to international prominence this year is Carlos Yulo. His immense fame came after he bagged two (2) gold medals in the 2024 Olympics held in Paris, France. It is the first time of the Philippines to win two (2) gold medals in the Olympics.
Caloy won his first Olympic gold medal in men’s floor exercise. Shortly after, it was followed by another Olympic gold medal win in men’s vault event. He is the first male Filipino athlete to win in the Olympics.
The double gold wins of Carlos Yulo in the 2024 Olympics and the bronze medal wins of Pinay boxers Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas made the Philippines the best-performing Southeast Asian country in the recent Olympics.
Countless people are proud of Carlos Yulo. In fact, not only the Philippine government but as well as several private entities wanted to reward Caloy for the pride and honor that he has brought the country.
Carlos Yulo got more than P100 million cash rewards and gifts for his Olympics wins. Megaworld gifted him a three-bedroom condo unit in McKinley Hill in Taguig which is worth P32 million and fully-furnished with fixtures and furniture.
The Olympic Double Gold Medalist also has at least two (2) brand new cars — a Land Cruiser Prado from Toyota and a Tiggo 7 Pro SUV from Chery Auto. The Philippine Olympic Committee also rewards Carlos with 2 houses and lots in Tagaytay for his two (2) gold wins.
However, it is no secret to the public that Caloy has his own share of family problems. Money issues and his mother’s disapproval of his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, have reportedly caused a rift between the mother and son.
