Richard Gomez Message To “Ungas Na Writers”

In a post, Richard Gomez called out the writers.

Actor-politician Richard Gomez called out the “ungas na writers” in a post and netizens have these reactions.

“Why not open EDSA bus lane during heavy traffic?”

This was the complaint of Leyte Representative Richard Gomez after he experienced the severe traffic in EDSA. He was in his car taking the path and crossed his mind how the effect it would be if the lane dedicate for the buses should be opened for private cars.

Netizens reacted and the now-deleted post of Gomez about traffic has gained a backlash online. It was accordingly out of touch and insensitive considering that he was complaining from the comfort of his luxury car while the commuters suffer from heat, pollution, and traffic, as well, on their way home.

In a previous article, Gomez reacted on his viral post and expressed that it was just a complaint at that moment that he aired.

On threads, amid the issues circling his post, he called out the writers who accordingly claimed that his post was deleted. In the same post, he called them “ungas” and reminded them to verify the information before making a claim.

This has caught the attention of many people online and they could help but react to them. To some, it doesn’t matter if what he meant in his post was deleted or not but his comment, for them, was clearly out of touch.

Meanwhile, amid the talks about Gomez, Mark Villar’s 2021 Manila traffic post was recalled by people online. This was after he promised that every city in Metro Manila will be free from traffic and with this, netizens suggested that Gomez should air his complaint to the former DPWH Secretary.
