Sandro Muhlach shared more details on the alleged abuse
Sparkle artist Sandro Muhlach revealed what happened when he entered the hotel room of GMA independent contractors Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz.
Sandro officially filed a r@pe complaint against Nones and Cruz. Previously, Sandro’s father, seasoned actor Nino Muhlach revealed the exchange of text messages that happened between his son and Nones.
Nino made this clarification after the legal counsel of the accused mentioned that it was Sandro who asked if he could go to their hotel room.
However, Nino stressed that it was Nones who first texted his son inviting him to go to their hotel room. Sandro asked Nones who were the people with him in the hotel room, he said that he was alone. With this, the young actor did not respond anymore.
During the Senate hearing on August 19, based on the report on Inquirer, Sen.Jinggoy Estrada asked why Sandro Muhlach was already hesitant to respond after Nones said that he was alone in the room. The actor said that it felt awkward.
A little over thirty minutes later, Nones texted again saying that it was a joke because he was with “drama people” and they were wrapping up already. As a newbie in the industry, Sandro saw that opportunity to mingle with other people in the network and so he asked if he could go there just for a short time as Nones said that they were “wrapping up.”
Sen. Jinggoy asked the actor who he saw when he entered the room. Sandro said that was just Nones and Cruz. He also shared that Cruz was already lying on the bed and obviously drunk.
“Nakita ko po silang dalawa. Si Richard Cruz po ay lasing na lasing na. Ang nag-aasikaso po sa akin ay si Sir Jojo, ino-offeran po ako ng wine. Lasing po, (Cruz) nakahiga po siya nung una ko siyang nakita so tumayo po si Richard po,” he said.
Sandro Muhlach said that he drank the wine but when he was asked by Sen. Jinggoy asked him what else Nones offered, the actor said that he couldn’t get into details. The actor’s legal counsel requested the Senate to conduct an executive session.
