Pres. Bongbong Marcos Proud of Carlos Yulo’s Victory in Paris Olympics
BONGBONG MARCOS – The President congratulated Philippine’s Pride Carlos Yulo again after he won his second Paris Olympics gold medal.
The Philippines is now assured of bringing home at least 4 Olympic medals from the 2024 Paris Olympics. Two of which were gold medals won by Carlos Yulo who competed in the floor exercises men’s category.
Carlos Yulo won his first Paris Olympics gold medal after scoring 15 points in floor exercise at the Bercy Arena in Paris on Saturday, August 3 (Philippine time). His victory marked not only the country’s first gold medal in Paris Olympics but also the country’s first in artistic gymnatics and for a male athlete.
The Filipinos rejoiced over the gold win of Yulo. He went trending on social media and many people expressed their pride and appreciation about his exemplary performance at the sports event.
Carlos Yulo’s powerful and golden performance in the Olympic floor exercise gained him congratulatory messages not only from the Filipino people but even from the representatives of other nations and his fellow gymnasts.
Philippine Pres. Bongbong Marcos also congratulated Carlos Yulo on his first gold medal win in the Paris Olympics. In his social media post, the Chief Executive expressed his confidence that it will not be the last gold medal win of Caloy.
