A fake statement with the name of John Estrada circulated online
Batang Quiapo John Estrada slammed a fake statement amid his recent issue with his wife former beauty queen Priscilla Meirelles.
John and Priscilla’s relationship has been a hot topic on social media these past few days. It started when the former beauty queen claimed that the actor was with a certain “Lily Hallman” in Boracay.
With that, cheating allegations resurfaced against the actor. To recall, last year, the celebrity couple also went through the same issue but they apparently were able to patch things up back then.
In her Facebook Live after the issue resurfaced, Priscilla Meirelles was asked if John Estrada has someone new and she answered that this is how life goes.
Just recently, John broke his silence on the recent issue with Priscilla. He said he and his wife agreed to take a break. He also denied his rumored relationship with Lily Hallman.
However, this was debunked by Priscilla. The former beauty queen said that there was no mutual agreement between her and John.
Amid this issue, a fake statement with John’s name circulated online. The fake statement said, “Lalake ako, maramin nagkakagusto sakin kasi matipuno, mabait at gwapo tayo. Anong magagawa ko kung tukso na yung lumalapit, edi tukain!”
John shared this fake statement on his Instagram Story with the caption, in all capital letters, “FAKE NEWS” He also included swearing emojis on his post.
In another Instagram story, the actor warned the uploader of the fake statement that he would take legal action against this.
These were shared on a popular showbiz site and many netizens did not take his side. Some said that even though the statement was untrue “action speaks louder than words.”
