The most important Book for the entire human race, especially for the Christians will be brought back to the new generation via Cable Networks plan of giving a straight forward interpretation of its content.
Their plan is to create a religious docu-drama which will start airing 2013. This is not the first time that History had tackled religious topic in their network. To recall, they had created and invested into a documentary aiming to answer the common question about The Real Face of Jesus. But for their new investment, they are not to probe or to put the documentary into something like investigation, else, they are to show to the new generation the most important as well as the highlights of the events in the Bible that will include Noah’s Ark, the Exodus, the crucifixion of Jesus and more.
It is expected that it will be a 10 hour mini-series that is really expensive. Aside from that, this 10 hour documentary will be divided into 5 parts. According to History president and general manager Nancy Dubuc as it talk with THR, “This series will bring the historical stories of the Bible to life for a new generation.”
“We spend a lot of time talking about this book, and probably not enough time knowing what’s in it,” Dubuc says. “One of the most important things about history is knowing the stories of history.”
The project will bring those highlights into real life actions and will be shown using the state of the art CGI.
Computer-generated imagery (CGI) is defined to be the application of the field of computer graphics or, more specifically, 3D computer graphics to special effects in art, video games, films, television programs, commercials, simulators and simulation generally, and printed media. The visual scenes may be either dynamic or static.
This new plan and project is a reunion for Burnett and Dubuc after the Expedition Africa series conducted by History way back in 2009.
