Karla Estrada slammed these fake quotes attributed to Daniel Padilla
Supreme Idol Daniel Padilla was a victim of these fake quotes and his mother Karla Estrada did not let these slide.
Social media have become a big part of the entertainment industry in recent years. It has become easier for celebrities to reach out to their fans through different platforms. Social media platforms are also being used for promotions.
However, just like other things, social media can also have negative effects. The different online platforms are being used by other people to spread negative and misinformation.
In a recent Facebook post that Queen Mother Karla Estrada shared, she showed screenshots of fake quotes attributed to her son Daniel Padilla.
One screenshot showed that the fake quote claimed that the actor said something about it was already too late to change after “nagloko.” Then, the other one stated that he was the first and others were just imitating.
These were posted by Hugot Pamore and Queen JD Facebook pages. In the caption of her post, Karla debunked these fake quotes.
“FAKE NEWS! NAKA REPORT NA NA ANG MGA ACCOUNTS NA ITO. FAKE NEWS ANG FEED NG MGA ACCOUNT NA ITO . DOUBLE CHECK MUNA SA MGA NAG BABASA BAGO MAG COMMENT AT BAKA MADAMAY KAYO SA PAG REPORT NAMIN SA MGA PAGE NA YAN,” the Queen Mother stressed.
In the comment section of her post, Karla received support from netizens who also did not like that some accounts would post something that it not true and use other people’s names.
“Ano kaya nppala ng mga taong ganyan grabi na magkalat ng fake news [crying face emoji,” a netizen commented. Another one commented, “Andami kcng GULLIBLE na mga NETIZENS DTO, andaming tanga at nagpapaniwala agad. Dapat maging mapagmatyag at mapanuri bago basahin at paniwalaa.“
