Actress Sarah Lahbati revealed the current status of her relationship with actor Richard Gutierrez.
Sarah and Richard did not directly speak about their separation. However, it was revealed to the public that the actress transferred to her new house and reports surfaced that they are co-parenting now.
Amid the breakup issue, rumors surfaced against both parties. Sarah was accused of being a “waldas queen“. Richard was accused of being “sobrang seloso.”
The issue was worsened by the fiery statements from the mothers of the two celebrities. Richard’s mom Annabelle Rama had intriguing posts, which for netizens were for her estranged daughter-in-law.
Sarah’s mom also shared cryptic posts. Netizens concluded that they were “patama” to Annabelle.
Their separation was among the controversial celebrity breakups in 2023. Late last year, the breakup speculations surfaced. It was because netizens noticed that they hadn’t posted photos of them together.
Then, netizens noticed that Sarah was not wearing her wedding ring already, and later on, the unfollowing on Instagram happened.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Balita, Sarah confirmed that she and Richard have no communication anymore. “Nag-uusap na kayo ni Richard ngayon?” TV5 entertainment correspondent MJ Mafori asked Sarah Lahbati. The actress answered, “No.”
On the other hand, both of them are fulfilling their duties as parents to their sons Zion and Kai. “We’re good at parenting. And we are there for the kids. That’s all I’m gonna say. Of course, it’s not ideal for the children. But that’s life. And they’ll be fine,” Sarah said.
Rumor has it that the estranged couple are now processing their annulment. They tied the knot in a simple ceremony back in March 2020 but they have been together as a couple for many years already.
