It is open for the SSS members who have posted at least one (1) monthly contribution. It replaced the SS ID. It can be used in many other transactions and the application process is easy.

Prepare the requirements in applying for a Unified Multi-purpose ID card to the Social Security System. Have your valid IDs photocopied and accomplish and sign the UMID ID Card Application Form.

You may visit a branch of the Social Security System that allows walk-in applications for a UMID ID card. In case of unscheduled visits to the state-run social insurance institution, it is best to follow the coding system implemented by the SSS:
