Powerful young singer Sharla Cerilles from Paranaque City becomes the latest three-chair turner of “The Voice Kids Philippines Season 3” on Sunday.
The 12-year-old took the stage performing Celine Dion’s famous hit “Power Of Love” which caught the attention of thee coaches, Tony-award winning singer Lea Salonga, Mega Star Sharon Cuneta and country’s rock icon Bamboo.
Salonga said that she is a complete package, noting that her stage presence was very powerful on stage and she can be seen enjoying her performance.
“Oh my gosh! This girl is a complete package kasi you’re beautiful to look at, and ‘yung presence mo, ang lakas on stage. At nagco-connect ka sa audience. Obvious na obvious na nage-enjoy ka sa pagkanta,” she said.
Cuneta noted that she can already identify the range of her voice because she is not shouting when performing.
On the other hand, Bamboo said that what she likes about Cerilles is her connection to the song which makes her a good story-teller.
Eventually, Cerilles chose to be part of Cuneta’s team. She became the second recruit of the veteran actress on Sunday night.
