During the entrapment operation carried out by the Southern Police District, the group’s leader and the driver of their van, loaded with two boxes of ammunition, were the first to be arrested in Muntinlupa.

“Initially ‘yung nakuha nilang target is ‘yung nagbenta nitong mga bala. Nakuha ‘yang 2,000 pieces ng bala ng 5.56mm,” PMaj. Asilo explained.

On the same day, another member of the group was apprehended in Manila, with authorities seizing a Bentley Shotgun, a US carbine, and a .45 pistol from him.

Asilo said.

The total value of the confiscated firearms and ammunition is around P240,000. The investigation revealed that the apprehended suspects were private agents and reservists.
