Angelica Panganiban On How She Deals With Postpartum Depression

This is the answer of Angelica Panganiban to this question.

Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban has this answer when asked about how she deals with postpartum depression.

Having a baby can bring a variety of powerful emotions, from excitement and joy to fear and anxiety. To many women who have just given birth, they experience postpartum “baby blues” after childbirth.

Baby blues includes emotions like mood swings, crying, anxiety, and difficulty sleeping.

However, to some, they experience a more severe form of depression which is known as postpartum depression. It may start during pregnancy and may even go on after childbirth. What many mothers should hear is that this is not a character flaw or a weakness.

And sharing what she did in dealing with this is Angelica Panganiban. She gave birth last September 2022 to baby Bean or Amila Sabine. Bean is her first child with Gregg Homan, her non-showbiz partner.

In an Instagram story, she was asked by one of her followers and her response was:

“Date nights and constant communication with my partner. Minsan si Gregg and Bean ang lumalabas at ako naiiwan mag-isa para sa katahimikan ng isip.”

Bean has just recently turned one year old. They prepared a big but simple birthday party for Bean and among those spotted in the event are her celebrity friends like Alora Sasam and Glaiza De Castro.

Meanwhile, Angelica and Gregg’s wedding will be next year. They got officially engaged last May 2022, while she was in her 4th month of pregnancy. According to them, they tried several times to elope but to no avail.

There’s always something that happens or occurs, hence, the cancellations. But next year, they are certain that it is really going to happen.
