Vice announced on-screen that he has already granted forgiveness to the man who shot his father.
Jose Marie Borja Viceral, or more commonly known by his stage name Vice Ganda, recently announced on Magandang Buhay that forgiveness is already granted by his family to the man who shot his father.
The Kapamilya comedian shared how he grew up without his father as one man had become the reason for the taking of his father’s life.
He recalled that it was Sunday when they were all ready to go to the church to attend mass recognizing that he came from a religious family. Vice said they were all ready when they heard people cramming outside.
The next thing they knew was that his father was shot by a man in their neighborhood. According to Vice, everyone saw the incident but the court never rested on their side. The man was never put behind the bars.
Further, he admitted that life had been tough for him after the incident. His father lost his life and his mom went abroad.
Vice and his four older siblings were left in the care of their grandfather. Each of them strived to live independently. At first, he was hesitant to talk to them as they might find out his real gender preference.
The actor – comedian also recalled how his parents would always find the way to earn for their living. he shared that they didn’t have stable job but they managed to provide the family’s needs.
Recently, on the set of Magandang Buhay, Vice Ganda gave a message to the man who shot his father. He told him that he and his family have forgiven him many years ago.
The man still lives in their neighborhood is sick so Vice wanted him to leave the burden if he thinks that his family has not forgiven him yet.
