Here’s what Vice Ganda said about his latest win.
“Everybody, Sing!” of Kapamilya superstar comedian-host Vice Ganda wins at the ContentAsia Awards.
Among the brightest stars of today is Vice Ganda. He is a comedian, host, performer, and award-winning actor. And recently, his hard work as a host has paid off as his program “Everybody, Sing!” has been recognized.
During Friday’s episode of “It’s Showtime”, he dedicated a speech to his victory.
“Everybody, Sing!” won Best Original Game Show at the ContentAsia Awards. The awarding was held in Bangkok, Thailand on Thursday, August 24, but the comedian was not able to grace the event.
In Showtime, he congratulated the show, his network, and the country for this triumph. According to him, he and the people behind the show are finally reaping the fruit of their labor and hard work to put up this show.
Hosting this show might be hard but it was all worth it.
The comedian then turned emotional as he expressed how timely this blessing is in his life.
“Everybody, Sing is such a very big blessing to me, to my life, to a lot of Filipinos, to ABS-CBN. And this award is such a very big blessing, a very timely blessing. Sabi ko nga, the Lord has been very good to me. The Lord has been so great,” he expressed.
He is grateful for this blessing, a reminder for him of how lucky and beautiful his life is and how much love the Lord and people have for him.
Vice added based on a report from ABS-CBN, “Sa lahat ng mga tao na nakakakilala sa akin, alam nila kung gaano kahalaga itong award na ito sa akin. Alam nila kung bakit ito napapanahon. Alam nila kung bakit ang sarap nito ngayon. Maraming-maraming salamat.”
