There are millions of Filipinos who are PhilHealth members. Undeniably, it is the more affordable option compared with getting a health insurance from private insurance companies. With PhilHealth, you can pay for your premiums either monthly, quarterly, or semi-quarterly.
The health insurance agency has several PhilHealth benefits for the members with active and up-to-date accounts. The assistance offers covers both in-patient and out-patient cases. It has also launched the Konsulta Package PhilHealth program or the consultation package.
The Konsulta Package PhilHealth launched requires registration with a consultation provider. Below, you can check the steps in registering:
Steps in Konsulta Package PhilHealth Registration
Step 1 — Go to a consultation provider nearest to your residence or workplace or where you wish to avail the consultation. Register by doing any of the following based on your preference:
- Self-Registration – Register using your PhilHealth Member Portal Account
- Assisted:
- Get assistance from PhilHealth Cares (PCARES) assigned in hospitals
- Call the PhilHealth Action Center
- Go to the nearest PhilHealth branch or Local Health Insurance Office (LHIO) for assistance
Step 2 — Get the Authorization Transaction Code (ATC) for the appointment schedule to the consultation provider.
- Pick a schedule and generate an ATC through your PhilHealth Member Portal account.
- Get assistance from PCARES, PhilHealth Action Center, PhilHealth branches, or LHIOs
Step 3 — On your scheduled date of visit or check-up, present the Authorization Transaction Code (ATC) to the consultation provider.
